Avant Homes has submitted plans to transform the historic 49-acre former Burtons clothing factory site in Burmantofts, Leeds, into a new £100m residential scheme.
The initial phase of the Montague Place development will comprise a mix of 302 energy-efficient homes in addition to public green space and employment space.
The development will feature a mix of one- to four-bedroom semi-detached and terraced homes and one- and two-bedroom apartments. Montague Place will offer affordable housing and homes for private rent.
Avant Homes has developed a heritage strategy that will see a number of features retained including art deco motifs and iconic Burton signage panels.
