Throwley Way Developments has let 19,300 sq ft of office space at Sutton Park House on Carshalton Road in Sutton to a single unnamed occupier.
The mixed-used development comprises 149 residential units and commercial office space on the ground and lower ground floors.
Thomas Tarn, associate at SHW, which alongside Centro acted for the landlord on the letting, said: “The commercial space was launched to the market in 2023 offering either shell and core or best-in-class CAT A office space, with the opportunity to take a 14,000 sq ft floorplate or the unique option in the area of acquiring a larger, self-contained office element.
“Sutton Park House offered something unique to the Sutton office market. The ground floor was the largest floorplate on the market by some margin and the space was finished to a very high Cat A+ specification.
“This deal shows the continued trend towards best-in-class, Grade A space as occupiers look to upgrade their space to meet ESG targets and to create a better working environment for staff. The deal also demonstrates that Sutton remains an attractive location for corporate occupiers with good public transport connectivity and a strong retail and F&B offering for staff.”
