Artisan Real Estate has secured planning consent for the residential-led redevelopment of the former Caledonian Brewery in Shandon, Edinburgh.
Artisan intends to transform the historic brewery site, which ceased operations in 2022, into a sustainable, low-carbon residential neighbourhood featuring 168 new private and affordable homes.
The brewery was founded in 1869 by George Lorimer and Robert Clark and comprises a distinctive range of B-listed Victorian buildings.
