Hillwood has submitted a detailed planning application for a new 285,000 sq ft multi-unit industrial and logistics scheme in Luton.
The circa 16-acre site, which is located close to the M1 motorway, will provide eight industrial and logistics units ranging from 14,000 sq ft to 79,000 sq ft.
Hillwood is targeting BREEAM Excellent and a minimum EPC A rating for the units, which will be delivered on a speculative basis.
Demolition of the existing site is ongoing and the main contractor will start on site later this year with practical completion expected in Q4 2026.
Hillwood completed the acquisition of the existing 350,000 sq ft multi-unit industrial estate for an undisclosed price in June this year.
The new scheme will be named Hillwood Park Luton and CBRE and DTRE have been retained as leasing agents.
