Rapleys has created a new building surveying team in Cardiff.
The company has recruited Richard Frost as partner, Jack Rowe as associate partner and Rhys Davies as associate, from Avison Young.
Frost has 30 years of industry experience and worked for Bruton Knowles prior to joining Avison Young. Davies and Rowe have got 27 years’ experience between them.
The team will work in the Cardiff and South Wales region while forming part of Rapleys’ national building consultancy division.
Simon Harbour, partner and national head of building surveying at Rapleys, said: “When we opened our office in Cardiff earlier this year, we were clear that we wanted to grow it to serve both regional and national clients. We are delighted that Richard, Rhys and Jack are joining to help us do exactly this through the delivery of one of our core services, and we have many more plans in place to add other services and talented people lined up for future expansion. Our new office in the centre of Cardiff will help cement our position in this market and we are proud of the client work we have taken on and our success so far.”
Frost added: “Rapleys is known for its huge depth of building consultancy expertise across all disciplines, and we are delighted to be joining the team, both in Cardiff and nationally. Building surveying has become a core part of investor, developer and occupier property strategies given the need for asset management and operational efficiency and Rapleys has demonstrated significant investment in new services and people to support this. We cannot be happier to be part of their growth story going forwards and grow further the Cardiff office with additional skills and services.”
