Colliers has hired Andrew Dobson, formerly of BCM Real Estate, to create a new portfolio and regional capital markets team.
Dobson served as a director at BCM for the past 20 years advising institutional investors on their portfolio acquisition and disposal strategies.
John Munday, Colliers UK CEO, said: “This is a great time to bring someone of Andrew’s calibre into the fold. His experience in navigating multi-asset class portfolios across the UK and beyond will be invaluable to our clients as the market is showing signs of more transactional opportunities coming forward. We’re thrilled to have him on board, and we will in time also be looking to expand our regional capital market expertise to support this work.”
Dobson added: “This is an exciting time to join Colliers as there’s an increasing appetite from larger institutions to dispose of stock that is particularly heavy on the asset management, providing a real opportunity for investors to pick up portfolios that span the UK and add value.
“My role will be crucial in identifying the best experts across the Colliers business to advise clients on their mixed-use portfolios, and provide all important local knowledge. Colliers has the depth and breadth of expertise to provide quality, data-driven advice, and I’m looking forward to coordinating that offering for our clients.”
