Bidwells has appointed Duncan MacIver as head of property and asset management.
MacIver, who has more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in commercial property management, most recently served as a partner and head of commercial at Cluttons.
Prior to that, he spent eight years at MAPP, where he held the role of executive director and head of property management (London) and was a director at CBRE, where he held roles across the national portfolio and specialist market team.
Robert Leadbetter, partner, head of investment and property management at Bidwells, said: “Duncan brings exactly the combination of skills and experience that our investment and property management team needs at this stage of its development. He has a proven track record of building and leading high-performing property management teams, building trusted and great relationships with client while understanding what it takes to grow a business competitively and sustainably. We are delighted to welcome him to Bidwells and excited to see what the future will bring.”
MacIver added: “Bidwells has built a genuinely compelling platform and I can see real potential to grow it further. I have spent my career on the operational and commercial side of property management and I am looking forward to applying that experience here – both in strengthening what the team already does well and in opening up new opportunities. The commercial property management sector is navigating a period of real change, from evolving investor expectations around asset performance to the growing complexity of occupier requirements, and I think Bidwells is well-placed to lead.”
