Joint venture partners SEGRO and Pure Data Centres Group have secured planning consent for a liquid-cooled hyperscale data centre at Premier Park in West London.
Designed by Scott Brownrigg, the project will see a redundant warehouse replaced by a new 22,365 sq m (circa 241,000 sq ft) data centre.
The three-storey development will comprise nine data halls and office accommodation, set within a pedestrian‑friendly environment and the scheme will be powered via a dedicated substation capable of supporting a 72MW data centre.
The JV partners are targeting BREEAM Excellent and an EPC A-rating for the development, which will also feature PV panels and rainwater harvesting in addition to native planting, ecological buffers and sustainable drainage systems to enhance biodiversity.
