Hortons has secured planning consent for its 270,000 sq ft masterplan for Sinfin Commercial Park in Derby.
The industrial and logistics development will deliver up to 17 new units ranging from 5,000 sq ft to 70,000 sq ft across the 23-acre site, which is strategically located adjacent to the Rolls-Royce Sinfin campus near the A50 and M1 motorway.
Hortons intends to deliver the new units in phases over the next three years, with the first phase expected to commence this summer.
James Slater, from Hortons, said: “Securing planning approval is a significant step forward in our vision to reposition Sinfin Commercial Park as a leading industrial and logistics destination for the East Midlands. This redevelopment will deliver a high quality, sustainable scheme that responds directly to occupier demand for modern, energy efficient space and reflects our commitment to unlocking the full potential of the site.”
Avison Young and Innes England are joint letting agents at the development.
