Built environment consultancy Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) has appointed Matt Buntine as head of London and Europe project and programme management.
Buntine, who was formerly managing director at Lendlease Consulting (now Bovis), previously managed complex businesses across a range of sectors including alternative energy, rail, aviation, heritage, commercial, education and development.
More recently, he played a key role in a successful open market sale and transformation programme, while maintaining continuity for major clients including TfL, Network Rail, the Houses of Parliament, Chelsea Football Club, Lendlease and a number of London museums.
Buntine said: “RLB is widely recognised for its strong project and programme management offering, and I am excited to join the team, bringing my own experience and insight. Having worked with both public sector and private sector clients, across multi-sector projects and programmes, I believe my expertise complements the existing team and will further enhance its capabilities.”
Guy Robinson, RLB strategic growth director and UK and Europe executive board director, added: “Project and programme management has always been a core service provision at RLB, and we continue to see strong growth both across the market and in our position within it with recent wins on some of the most sought after projects. Matt’s appointment strengthens an already highly capable team, supporting our offering to clients while reinforcing our strategic presence across London and Europe.”
