Fine Grain Property has appointed Darragh Lennon as the company’s new chief executive officer.
He replaces Fine Grain Property founder and current CEO, Colin MacDonald, who has become executive chairman, with Ron Bolger, who has helped steer the business through multiple property cycles on two continents over 20 years, appointed chairman emeritus.
Lennon was one of the founding shareholders of Fine Grain Property in 2007 before holding senior roles across numerous businesses operating in the Irish financial services and property sectors.
He returned to the business in 2024 and has overseen asset strategy, investor reporting, asset acquisitions and sales, financing and the day-to-day management of a growing portfolio of sustainable workplace communities.
Lennon said: “This is a business built on long-term thinking, strong relationships, and disciplined execution, and that does not change. What does change is our ambition. We have a clear plan to grow significantly over the next three years, a talented team to deliver it, and the right structure to execute. I am grateful to Colin and Ron for everything they have built, and for the confidence they have placed in me. As CEO, I am excited to lead the business forward in to this next phase. We are just getting started.”
MacDonald added: “Since returning to Fine Grain as COO two years ago, Darragh has taken an already strong platform and made it sharper, more institutional and ready to scale. That gives me the confidence to focus on what I enjoy most and where I believe I can add the most value: developing the investment strategies, building the relationships and identifying the opportunities that will take Fine Grain Property somewhere it has not been before. There is a significant growth agenda ahead of us and I am looking forward to being a driving force behind it.
