BlackLine Systems has signed for 8,374 sq ft of Grade A office space at 10 Brindleyplace in Birmingham.

The company has agreed a 10-year lease at the building with a tenant-only break option at year five, at a headline rent of £35.86/sq ft.

Located in the heart of Brindleyplace, the building has secured EPC A and BREEAM Excellent ratings and offers best-in-class amenities such as roof terraces, fitness facilities and communal space.

Molly Cook, associate director in Colliers’ Birmingham national offices team, which advised BlackLine on the letting, said: “This deal highlights continued demand for high quality, amenity rich office space in Birmingham, particularly from global occupiers seeking best-in-class environments to support employee wellbeing and attract talent.

“Ten Brindleyplace offers a compelling combination of sustainability, connectivity and workplace experience, and we are delighted to have supported BlackLine in securing a space that aligns with their long-term business ambitions. The strength of our activity in Q1 also reflects continued confidence in Birmingham as a core UK office market, with occupiers prioritising prime, ESG-led buildings.”

Ray Montalvo, VP, real estate and workplace at BlackLine, added: “Our priority at BlackLine is delivering an exceptional employee experience, and our new office at 10 Brindleyplace does exactly that. Colliers helped us secure a space in Birmingham that not only supports our growth but physically embodies the innovation, quality, and strength of our brand.”
