Honey has submitted plans and exchanged contracts on a 14.5-acre site in Coalville, Leicestershire, on which it intends to deliver a £54.7m, 190-home development.
The Ember scheme, which is located off Beveridge Lane, will comprise a mix of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes and feature 14 of Honey’s house types.
Ember will form part of Harworth Group’s wider Swinfen Vale masterplan, which will see 2,016 homes delivered across a 440-acre site.
Mark Mitchell, chief executive officer of Honey, said: “We hope Ember will be our first development in Leicestershire as we continue to expand throughout the East Midlands. We have experienced strong demand for our homes at our five live developments in the region and are excited by the opportunity to start delivering our high specification homes for sale in Coalville.
“We believe our product offers buyers the best combination of style, substance and sustainability at its price point and this achievement is the result of our absolute focus on meeting our customers’ needs. We now look forward to working with North West Leicestershire District Council planning officers as they consider our proposals in Coalville.”
