Mountpark has secured planning consent for a 640,000 sq ft unit at Mountpark Ferrybridge in West Yorkshire.
The property will feature 21m clear internal eaves, two 50m service yards, Grade A headquarter-style office space and a power supply of up to 13MVA. Mountpark is targeting BREEAM Outstanding certification and an EPC A+ rating for the unit.
Delivery of the unit, which will be the developers’ largest speculative logistics development in the UK, marks the next step in the transformation of the former Coal Yard at Ferrybridge Power Station into a major infrastructure and logistics hub.
More than 50% of Mountpark Ferrybridge has now been pre-let/pre-sold following a 65,800 sq ft pre-let to Warburtons and the disposal of a further 40 acres to a data centre developer. The spec built 40,000 sq ft Unit 1 is also under offer and due to complete later this year.
