Airbnb has agreed two deals with flexible workspace operators enabling people to book flex space in London via its platform for the first time.
Airbnb customers can now book co-working day passes at Work.Life’s centres at St Cross Street, Borough and Holborn and Oneder is offering day passes and meeting rooms at its Kindling White City site (pictured), which is managed by Stanhope, and its Channel centre in King’s Cross.
David Kaiser, CEO and co-founder of Oneder, said: “Work has stopped being a place people go and has become something people do – from anywhere. In the UK, 28% of office workers are now hybrid on any given week, 88% of companies offer hybrid working, 66% of office workers enjoy a hybrid policy, and there are expected to be over 60 million digital nomads worldwide by 2030.
“Oneder has always believed in the importance of democratising workspace and offering flexibility in time, space and place. With UK government support for flexible working and the growth of the digital nomad, this is becoming more important than ever. Our partnership with Airbnb helps to give more people than ever access to enjoy our spaces and our community.”
