Pat Ritchie’s tenure as chair of Homes England has been extended for another six months to the end of April 2027.
The housing and regeneration expert, who has held a number of public sector roles during her career including chair of the Government Property Agency (GPA), chief executive of Newcastle City Council and deputy chief executive of the One North East Regional Development Agency, was appointed as interim chair of Homes England in April last year.
Ritchie CBE said: “This comes at a significant time for Homes England as we continue to evolve to support the government’s priorities and help realise the ambitions of places and communities across the country. I am personally very proud to continue working with such a dedicated and capable team. The coming months will bring both change and opportunity as we work alongside government, mayors and local leaders to deliver their ambitions, helping to create thriving places and deliver lasting impact for people and communities.”
