HBD has secured planning approval for two units providing circa 77,000 sq ft of industrial space at Airport Business Park Southend.

On Plot 9, HBD will deliver a detached 16,451 sq ft building and on Plot 10 it will build 61,000 sq ft of terraced units, replicating the scheme’s existing Quad development.

The warehouse units will provide office and amenity space and a landscaped outdoor area will help to integrate the site into the green corridor that runs through the park. Units are available on either a freehold or pre-let basis and construction is expected to begin in 2027.

Hamer Boot, managing director of HBD, which is part of Henry Boot, said: “We continue to see strong demand for high quality industrial space at Airport Business Park Southend, so it’s positive to be able to deliver an additional 77,000 sq ft. We’re pleased to be able to extend the scheme further, attracting new investment, supporting business growth and creating new jobs.”

The agents for Airport Business Park Southend are Dedman Gray, Kemsley and Cushman & Wakefield.
