Cameron Homes has secured planning consent for the second phase of its Sylvan development in the Nottinghamshire village of Ruddington.

‘The Croft’ development will comprise five executive villa-style residences, priced well in excess of £1m. Ranging in size from 2,390 sq ft to 3,522 sq ft, three of the houses will have four bedrooms – with multiple en-suites and luxury living and entertaining space – with the rest featuring five bedrooms.

The development has been designed by Pegasus architects to complement the adjacent £18m Sylvan development and the local vernacular.

Emily Christie, head of planning at Cameron Homes, said: “Ruddington boasts the accolade of being named among the UK’s best places to live in the annual guide by Muddy Stilettos. The sought after village is also conveniently situated for Nottingham Forest’s training ground and stadium, so it’s a popular residential neighbourhood with players, coaches and management.

“We’re really pleased to receive the green light to construct this eco-friendly development, as there is certainly demand for bespoke homes in Ruddington. These five executive residences will be constructed to a high specification, equipped with an array of energy saving and smart home technology. We’re looking forward to breaking ground for The Croft and delivering this showpiece development.”
