Re:shape has strengthened its investment and development platform with two senior hires.
Gordon Mugabi (pictured), formerly of Federated Hermes, has joined the business as investment manager and Tarryn Leeferink, formerly of Corstorphine & Wright, has joined Re:shape as senior development manager.
Leeferink’s remit spans development delivery, design standards and project execution. She will also oversee the delivery of Re:shape’s upcoming Building Safety Gateway submissions. Alongside Leeferink, Mugabi will lead Re:shape’s third wave of co-living acquisitions with the firm targeting a series of new opportunities before the end of the current financial year.
Leeferink said: “Re:shape is uniquely placed to link product design, resident experience and long-term asset operation into something genuinely distinctive. As we move into delivery, my focus is turning that ambition into a product that’s consistently great across the portfolio.”
Mugabi added: “Re:shape is an innovative living-sector developer with a strong track record of identifying opportunities and creating differentiated living platforms. The success of ARK Coliving has already established a strong reputation for the business within the industry. The fundamentals behind co-living are compelling, but scaling successfully requires disciplined site selection, a clear understanding of planning risk and a product that works commercially over the long term. I look forward to bringing an institutional investment perspective to Re:shape as it continues to scale its portfolio.”
Robbie Nightingale, development partner at Re:shape, said: “I’m excited to welcome Tarryn and Gordon to the Re:shape. As we move into a new phase of both delivery and continued growth, their skills and experience will help shape both the business and the Re:shape product.”
