Honey has submitted a planning application and exchanged contracts on a 11.9-acre development site in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire, on which it intends to build 131 new homes.
The £41.3m GDV Jasmine scheme is located off Dorothy and Delia Avenue and will comprise a mix of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes. The development will also feature 14 of Honey’s house types.
If Honey’s plans are approved by Gedling Borough Council, work at Jasmine is expected to start in the autumn and the first residents are anticipated to move into their new homes by spring 2027.
Mark Mitchell, chief executive officer of Honey, said: “Our extensive market research has highlighted the significant demand for high specification, high quality homes in and around the Hucknall area. Exchanging contracts on this site and submitting plans for our Jasmine development is a fantastic step forward as we look to further grow our footprint across Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands. We now look forward to Gedling Borough Council considering our proposed plans to deliver homes that combine style, substance and sustainability for buyers in the Hucknall area.”
