Specialist cyber security and resilience firm CSA Cyber has signed for a new 3,442 sq ft office on the fourth floor of the Forum development in Gloucester city centre.
CSA Cyber is relocating almost 100 employees from Waterwells Business Park on the southern edge of the city to the scheme.
The Forum, which forms part of the wider King’s Quarter regeneration, is a £107m mixed-use development in Gloucester city centre brought forward by Gloucester City Council and Reef + Partners.
David Woodfine, chairman and co-founder of CSA Cyber, said: “As CSA Cyber continues to grow within the FluidOne group, we needed a modern workspace that reflects our ambitions for the future. The Forum gives us an environment that supports collaboration and innovation and has allowed us to maintain our roots here in Gloucester. Being part of a location that is fast becoming known as a technology and cyber hub will help us to ensure the continued delivery of high quality cyber security services to our clients.”
Peter Langly-Smith, managing director of Reef + Partners, added: “Our vision for The Forum was to create a vibrant hub for the technology sector and CSA Cyber’s move is a strong endorsement of that vision. We’re pleased such a prestigious Gloucester-based company could keep its operations and its team in the city and look forward to seeing them continue to thrive, grow and collaborate here at The Forum.”
A spokesperson for Gloucester City Council said: “We are delighted to welcome CSA Cyber to The Forum. Attracting ambitious and growing businesses to Gloucester is a key priority for the council and sits at the heart of the vision behind The Forum. Developments like this are about creating the high quality workspace that modern businesses expect, while bringing more investment, jobs and opportunities into the city centre. The decision by a respected cyber security company with national and international reach to relocate to The Forum is a vote of confidence in both the development and Gloucester’s future.”
Dorian Wragg, partner and head of commercial property at Bruton Knowles, which acted on the deal, added: “A longstanding connection with CSA Cyber, meant we understood what they needed for their next stage of growth: room to expand and a base that reflected their ambitions. The Forum’s forward-thinking design and overall aesthetic matched those aspirations, while the community of technology businesses already operating in the area provided the right ecosystem. We recognised that fit and worked closely with the team to bring the move together. It’s a significant vote of confidence in Gloucester’s appeal to the cyber sector.”
