Carter Jonas partner Ryan Dean has passed away following a short illness.
Over a 25-year career, Dean became a highly respected figure in the commercial property industry. He spent 11 years at Knight Frank, rising to partner, national offices, before holding senior leadership roles at Lambert Smith Hampton, most recently servicing as executive director and head of transactional services.
He joined Carter Jonas in October last year as a partner. Dean also served as chairman of the Office Agents Society from 2015 to 2017.
In a statement posted on LinkedIn, Carter Jonas said: “Although he had been with us for just over a year, he made an extraordinary impact, becoming a valued colleague, friend and mentor to many. Ryan brought a vast amount of experience in commercial real estate but beyond his business acumen, he was an excellent leader who championed his team, supported everyone around him and took great care in his client work.
“In all of the businesses he worked in, we will remember his zest for life, his smile and the energy and enthusiasm Ryan brought to everything he did. His kindness, generosity, and willingness to support others will stay with us all, and he will be greatly missed across the industry.”
