BE News is delighted to be supporting SPACE UK as media partner on 19 January when it brings its stellar speaker line-up and unique tribe-based format to Convene, 22 Bishopsgate, London.

The one-day event, which is themed ‘From Purpose to Place’, will deliver high-level content across three stages as well as immersive debates involving more than twenty ‘tribes’ and thinktanks.

Sessions on the main stage will feature The Crown Estate, Argent, British Land, Legal & General, SwissRe, Haleon and Inmarsat and focus on ‘brand and user experience’, ‘psychology of space’ and ‘the future of work’. The Crown Estate executive director Judith Everett will deliver a keynote address and give her take on businesses and organisations ‘finding purpose’.

The ‘ALT/RESI’ Stage will focus on the future of the rental sector, global investment and the creation of communities, with input from Clifford Chance and Yardi alongside Apache Capital, Greystar and Lendlease. Meanwhile, on the ‘PLACE’ stage, Rob Heasman, chief executive of Earls Court Development Company, and Amelia Bright, executive director at Grosvenor, will be tackling destination creation and placemaking strategy.

Throughout the day, delegates will also be able join their preferred ‘tribe’ and participate in immersive debates with session hosts and co-hosts. BE News editor-in chief Liz Hamson will be hosting the PLACE Tribe on ‘Retail Re-Imagined’, joined by co-hosts Georgie Manly, (Landsec), Denz Ibrahim (LGIM) and Rebeca Guzman Vidal (Chelsfield), and will also steer the ALT/RESI Tribe on ‘Creating Communities’.
