Brunswick Property Partners has let 10,629 sq ft at Stephenson House in Croydon to Fairfield School of Business.
The learning provider has signed a 15-year lease for the fifth floor of the building, which was acquired by Brunswick for its Akoya neighbourhood workplace vehicle in 2021.
Stephenson House and neighbouring Knollys House are currently undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment, due to complete in the second half of the year. The works will upgrade the building to a minimum of EPC B, AirScore Gold and Ska Gold.
Jon Cochrane, director of asset management and sustainability at Brunswick Property Partners, said: “When we purchased these buildings in the centre of Croydon’s business district it was with the intention of upcycling them into sustainable, highly amenitised offices that meet the needs of modern occupiers who want good-quality workspace on their doorstep. Securing this letting to Fairfield School of Business is a major endorsement of our strategy, highlighting the demand that exists for Grade A space in micro markets where such buildings are relatively rare.”
Brunswick was advised by Savills and Fairfield School of Business was unrepresented.
