A mixed-use island site on Chiswick High Road in London is expected to be one of the main attractions at Allsop’s final commercial auction of the year.
The unbroken freehold site (pictured), which comprises four shops, a veterinary practice, dentist, drama school, nursery, offices, two flats and 10 car parking spaces, is guided at £12m+.
It is one of 90 lots to be offered for sale at the live-streamed auction on Tuesday 9 December. The catalogue, which includes a wide range of commercial and mixed-use properties located across the UK, contains 20 lots guided at or above £1m.
Other key lots at the auction include a former department store in Eastbourne (guided at £900,000+), a drive-thru and car wash in Aldershot majority let to a Burger King franchisee until 2045 (guided at £2m-£2.2m) and the Prudential Buildings and Ferguson House in Ilford, which have permitted development rights approval for 56 residential units (guided at £5.5m-£5.75m).
Alex Neil, commercial auction partner at Allsop, said: “Our final catalogue of the year features a couple of stand-out, high-value lots in Chiswick and Ilford, as well as the traditional mix of properties throughout the country which highlight the breadth of the commercial auction market. Our buyers continually express their desire to purchase again and, with some clarity finally provided by Wednesday’s Budget after months of speculation, we believe this catalogue presents an excellent opportunity for buyers at all ends of the market to successfully acquire before the year-end.”
Earlier this month, Allsop raised £54m across its two-day November residential auction from the sale of 160 lots. The largest lot sold under the hammer was a mixed-use development in Ealing Broadway, which went for £5.3m.
