Aprirose has sold the Karma Sanctum hotel in the heart of London’s Soho to multi-family real estate management firm Tenigla for £22m.
Aprirose purchased the Georgian style hotel, which is located on Warwick Street, in 2021. The Karma Sanctum features 30 rooms and suites ranging from compact rooms to large rooftop terrace suites.
The hotel also has a rooftop bar featuring a jacuzzi, a subterranean members’ bar and lounge and a restaurant – the Wild Heart Bar & Shokudo serving Japanese street food by Michelin-starred chef Garry Hollihead.
Manish Gudka, CEO of Aprirose, said: “We saw the opportunity to sell Karma Sanctum at an attractive price and create liquidity for our investors. We are in the market for opportunities that are core plus across several sectors where we can implement asset management strategies to drive value. With an in-house investment and asset management team, we like to create our own value through asset management initiatives, without relying exclusively on market yield compression.”
Aprirose was advised by Michael Elliott and Tenigla was advised by London Property Partners.
