AXA IM Alts has submitted a planning application for a 635,000 sq ft biodiverse office building at 63 St Mary Axe in the City of London.
Designed by Fletcher Priest Architects, the proposed 46-storey development will feature an extensive new park, a multi-function ground level auditorium and other public amenities.
Each floor of the building, located at the edge of the City’s Eastern Cluster, will provide access to fresh air and gardens featuring more than 100 new trees that will boost the biodiversity of the site.
AXA IM Alts is targeting BREEAM Outstanding, NABERS 5* and net zero carbon in operation for the fossil fuel free, all-electric building.
