BE News is delighted to be supporting this year’s FOOTPRINT+ conference as a media partner.

Some 3000 attendees are expected to attend this year’s conference, which is billed as ‘the UK property event for a zero carbon future’.

During the three-day conference, which takes place on 6 to 8 June on Brighton sea front, a host of stellar speakers from across the built environment industry and beyond will debate the key issues across five stages focused on: the retrofit agenda, the circular economy, financing the carbon revolution, zero carbon energy and timber.

The event aims to bring together specialists “to get inspired, learn and meet organisations who can help deliver carbon reduction in the industry” and “to look in detail at techniques and initiatives from lots of different disciplines that are helping to deliver decarbonisation”.
This year’s highlights are expected to include sessions on electricity microgrids, NABERS UK and the commercial challenges involved in office refurbishment. BE News editor-in-chief Liz Hamson will be one of the moderators at this year’s event.

FOOTPRINT+ creative director Tim Pyne said: “We curated FOOTPRINT+ to provide the industry’s best speakers in the UK and reveal state-of-the-art techniques on carbon reduction to the entire property world. It’s a three-day event, so there is ample opportunity for relaxed networking. Lots of business happens while the learning’s going on, and the brilliant venue overlooking a wind farm an hour from London is a unique setting.”
