The Cube Hotel in Birmingham has been put up for sale with a guide price of £7.2m.

Joint administrators Richard Easterby and Nick Simmonds of Quantuma Advisory, have appointed Knight Frank to market the four-star unbranded hotel, which comprises 52 en-suite bedrooms alongside a Marco Pierre White franchise restaurant, a cocktail lounge and terrace offering panoramic views of Birmingham city centre.

The hotel occupies four floors of the 25-storey Cube canalside development, which is located adjacent to the Mailbox.

Matthew Smith, partner at Knight Frank, said: “Birmingham continues to perform as an important leisure and economic hub, contributing to consistent levels of visitor traffic and hotel demand. This is a superb opportunity to acquire a prime hotel and restaurant in Birmingham’s vibrant city centre, while the potential to rebrand the hotel element of the business opens a wealth of possibilities for future owners. We are delighted to be advising Quantuma Advisory Limited on this sale and look forward to engaging with interested parties.”
