British Land has submitted a planning application for 42,535 sq ft of new retail and leisure space at its Fort Kinnaird scheme in Edinburgh.
The plans include a new circa 19,750 sq ft food store on the ground floor, alongside a circa 22,785 sq ft enhanced leisure offering on the first floor.
Located alongside Fort Kinnaird’s established leisure and food offering, the plans follow the refurbishment of the Eastern Terrace last year, which saw more than 20,000 sq ft of retail space upgraded.
Subject to planning approval, work is anticipated to start on site in January 2027 and practical completion is targeted for January 2028.
