Brookfield Properties has secured planning consent for the 300,000 sq ft redevelopment of 1 Moor Lane in the City of London.
The redevelopment of the building, which was formerly known as Milton Gate, will increase the amount of office space by around 50%.
The retrofit project, which was designed by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, will retain 70% of the building’s original structure, significantly reducing its embodied carbon and environmental impact.
The all-electric building will be net zero in operation and is expected to achieve EPC A, BREEAM Outstanding and NABERS 5* certification upon completion.
