Bruntwood SciTech has agreed a deal with the University of Birmingham for 50,000 sq ft of life sciences space at its Birmingham Health Innovation Campus (BHIC).
The university will establish the Birmingham Centre for Anatomy, Surgical and Clinical Skills (B-CASCS) training facility within BHIC’s first building, which is known as No.1 BHIC.
Following the letting, only 10,000 sq ft of space is now left within the building, which has been purpose built to support life science businesses as part of the campus’ first phase. No.1 BHIC is scheduled to open in the coming months and B-CASCS is expected to welcome its first cohort of students in September 2026.
