CBRE IM has let a 5,000 sq ft unit at Hammersmith Broadway shopping centre in West London to Sainsbury’s for a new Sainsbury’s Local store.
Sainsbury’s has signed a 15-year lease on Units 30 and 31-32, which were previously occupied by Little Farm and Boots respectively.
Archie Morriss of GCW, which advised CBRE IM on the letting, said: “After competitive bids were called, which highlighted the strength in demand for food stores in London, Sainsbury’s were selected as the preferred operator for the combined units. Occupancy in the scheme is back up to pre-Covid levels, with the completion of this letting leaving only one available unit in the centre.”
