Related Argent has commenced construction of the first office building at the 180-acre, £8bn mixed use Brent Cross Town development.
Designed by architects shedkm, 3 Copper Square will provide 239,000 sq ft of office space over 14 floors, plus flexible retail space at ground level.
Sheffield Hallam University has signed up to anchor 3 Copper Square and will occupy 110,000 sq ft across the lower six floors.
The building will form the cornerstone of a new business and innovation district, delivered by Related Argent in partnership with Barnet Council, which will extend to 3m sq ft and sit alongside 6,700 new homes, student housing, later living homes, a new high street, three schools and 50 acres of parks and playing fields.
BAM has been appointed main contractor and completion of 3 Copper Square is anticipated in spring 2026 with the building scheduled to open in Q3 2026.
