Cushman & Wakefield has promoted Mark Hingston to the role of managing director, asset services EMEA.
Hingston (pictured), who joined Cushman & Wakefield’s asset services EMEA business seven and a half years ago from Capita, has been chief operating officer of asset services EMEA since 2019.
He takes over leadership of the team from Tina Reuter who has been appointed as Cushman & Wakefield’s head of Germany.
Colin Wilson, chief executive EMEA at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Mark’s experience, strategic thinking and vision – as well as his deep understanding of our business and clients – mean he is ideally suited to take over the leadership of the team. As an existing senior leader within the team, his appointment also ensures a seamless transition for both colleagues and clients. I look forward to working closely with him in his new role.”
Hingston added: “I’m proud to take on the leadership of a really talented team. As the needs of real estate owners and investors have evolved in recent years, our clients have responded enthusiastically to the level of sophistication we have brought to our services, and the experience we can deliver for their tenants and other users of their assets. We have begun the year strongly, with client appetite for the full breadth of our services, continuing our momentum from 2023.”
