Real estate law firm Davitt Jones Bould (DJB) has appointed Simon Thornton-Graham as a partner.
During his career, Thornton-Graham, who has worked in-house for firms such as Amazon and Getir and spent 10 years working in private practice for US firm Latham & Watkins, has acted for a wide range of international clients across the full real estate cycle, including acquisition, development, leasing, management and disposal.
DJB said major geopolitical and trade tensions, coupled with a drive for increased efficiencies, was causing US firms to reconsider the presence of overseas offices and seek a strategic new approach to resourcing in London, with ‘buddying up’ and consortia working becoming more commonplace.
