Denholm Good Logistics has purchased a 199,092 sq ft warehouse at Knowsley Business Park from joint venture partners Stainton International and Euro Property Investments for £11m.
Denholm said it planned to use the self-contained Knowsley 200 warehouse, which sits on an 11-acre site, for its timber supply chain branch.
The EPC B-rated warehouse has five level access doors and 12 dock levellers and provides 8,500 sq ft of office space.
Stuart Gosling, managing director of Denholm Good Logistics, said: “We’ve been planning this move to extend our timber operations in the North West for the last three years and have been working with Colliers to find the right location which supports our growth ambitions to streamline timber distribution directly to customers. Knowsley 200 is a great size, modern unit ideally located in a freeport zone, which is ideal for our global business model.”
