DFI appoints Chakraborty as MD and head of capital markets

Independent pan-European private equity real estate platform DFI has appointed Dipayan Chakraborty as managing director and head of capital markets.

Chakraborty, who has more than 15 years of experience in real estate investment banking and capital markets across the UK, Europe and India, most recently spent four years at JP Morgan as an executive director in its EMEA real estate investment banking team where he was responsible for origination and execution of M&A and capital raising mandates across all asset classes in the UK and Europe.

In his new role, Chakraborty will be responsible for driving product development alongside partners and investment teams, leading on the capital formation strategy of the business and executing on DFI’s strategic corporate growth initiatives.
