Firethorn Trust has sealed a deal to acquire the £100m GDV Poland House purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) site in Stratford, East London, from Curlew Capital’s CST2 Fund.
Designed by Henley Halebrown, the site has planning permission for a 284-bed PBSA scheme with the on-site amenity provision comprising study spaces, common rooms and a residents’ gym. The development will feature 35% affordable accommodation.
Work on site will commence later this year with completion due in time for the 2028/2029 academic year.
