Avison Young’s Dan Crossley and Oliver Rowe have joined Manchester-based property consultancy Edwards & Co as shareholders, as part of a major new restructuring of the business.
Crossley was a principal in the North West capital markets team at Avison Young and in 2004 he was a founding partner in WHR. Rowe, who was a director at Avison Young, joined WHR in 2010 and the company was acquired by Avison Young in 2017. Together they have more than 35 years’ experience of working within capital/investment markets in the North West markets.
Edwards & Co’s Andrew Timms said: “It is an exciting time for Edwards and Co as we welcome Dan and Oliver as shareholders and marks a new chapter in our 30 year history. Since I joined nearly 19 years ago, we have always prided ourselves on providing our clients with experienced, director led advice and Dan and Ollie clearly share the same values as the rest of the team.
“The re-structure also sees Ed Keany and Richard Dinsdale becoming shareholders after both being with the business for almost 17 years. Nigel Hunter and Alun Jones remain involved as consultants to the business.”
Rowe added: “Edwards & Co has an unrivalled reputation within the market as dependable, forward thinking and refreshingly honest advisors and it is this approach that very much resonates with the ethos that Dan and I have always shared.
“By joining forces with such a well-respected firm, we were confident that this would provide us all with the right platform to grow an existing brand and create something very special going forwards.”
Crossley said: “Oliver and I have worked together for almost 14 years on some of the region’s most high profile deals working with an eclectic mix of investment clients from indigenous high net worth investors and property developers through to international funds and overseas investors.
“Our advice has always put the client first, providing them with informed, strategic advice coupled with unrivalled occupational knowledge. The new structure will enable us to lay the solid foundations for the shared vision of creating an even greater independent multi-disciplinary property consultancy with an ambition for future expansion.”
