Fusion Group has secured planning consent for a 507-bedroom purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) scheme on the site of the Portswood Centre retail parade in Southampton.
The scheme, which will comprise two buildings of five and six storeys, will provide 507 student bedrooms with the on-site amenity provision including private study spaces, fitness and wellness facilities.
Designed by Corstorphine and Wright, the development will also deliver 831 sq m of flexible commercial floorspace and circa 724 sq m of public open space, including improvements to the public realm on Portswood Road.
