Get Living has submitted revised proposals for the third and final phase of its Elephant and Castle town centre development.
Building on the original 2019 masterplan, the revisions for the West Site include 452 purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) beds, 507 build-to-rent homes and 165 homes for affordable rent.
The plans also introduce architectural improvements, a new public square, which could house a range of retail and café offerings, and the repurposing of part of the existing London College of Communication (LCC) workshop into a new cultural venue, with flexible spaces that could cater for a variety of uses, such as performances, studios, workshops, retail and leisure.
The West Site is currently home to the London College of Communication, which is relocating next door to The Elephant, the second phase of the scheme. The Elephant is due to open next year.
