Great Portland Estates (GPE) has announced that its development director Andrew White will leave the business later this year.
White joined GPE in 2013 and has played a leading role in delivering many of the company’s most significant developments, including Rathbone Square, Hanover Square, 30 Broadwick Street, 50 Finsbury Square and 30 Duke Street.
He will remain with GPE during a transition period to ensure an orderly handover of his responsibilities to existing members of the development team.
Toby Courtauld, chief executive of GPE, said: “Andy has made an exceptional contribution to GPE over the past 13 years. He has played a central role in many of our most successful developments and has helped shape the business through a period of major growth and change. He is a highly respected colleague whose judgement, professionalism and integrity have been greatly valued by everyone who has worked with him. On behalf of the board and all his colleagues at GPE, I would like to thank Andy for his significant contribution and wish him every success in the future.”
White added: “It has been a privilege to be part of GPE for the past 13 years and to work alongside such talented colleagues and partners. I am enormously proud of what we have achieved together and of the developments we have delivered across central London. I leave with many great memories, lasting friendships and a deep appreciation for everyone who has contributed to that success.”
