The Grade II listed The Wroxton hotel in Banbury, Oxfordshire, has been put up for sale with a guide price of £2.25m.
Situated on the northern edge of the Cotswolds, the hotel comprises 32 en-suite bedrooms, a spacious restaurant and bar providing around 60 covers, and a range of meeting and events facilities. The hotel also benefits from a four‑bedroom staff house and on‑site parking for approximately 40 vehicles.
The Wroxton is located close to Silverstone Circuit and during peak race weekends it regularly achieves full occupancy, with room rates reaching up to £900 per night.
Miranda Ashcroft, from Savills’ hotel capital markets team, which has been appointed by the private owner to market the opportunity, said: “The Wroxton presents a genuine opportunity for an operator or investor seeking entry into the Cotswolds market, with significant potential for further value creation and future upside.”
