The Arden Hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon has been put up for sale with a guide price of £6m.

The Grade II listed boutique hotel, which is located directly opposite the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, comprises 45 individually designed en-suite bedrooms, alongside meeting space, private parking and landscaped gardens.

The hotel also features the award-winning two AA Rosette No. 44 Brasserie and generates an expected turnover of approximately £3m, with further scope for growth.

Matthew Smith, partner at Knight Frank hotel agency, which has been appointed to market the opportunity, said: “The Arden Hotel represents a prime hospitality asset in one of the UK’s most established cultural destinations, with a truly unrivalled location overlooking the River Avon and immediately adjacent to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Alongside its strong operational performance, the asset offers clear opportunities for further value creation, making it a highly compelling investment proposition.”
