Cushman & Wakefield has strengthened its living sector capabilities with the appointment of Tom Grey as partner.

Grey, who has more than 20 years of residential real estate experience, has held several senior build-to-rent (BTR) and investment consultancy roles and was most recently a director at global rental living sector advisory firm GAA Living.

Grey served as head of London residential development at Cushman & Wakefield between 2006-2008 and prior to that he was an associate in the firm’s international investment team.

James Dunne, head of UK living at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Tom’s arrival marks another step in the continued growth and ambition of our living team. We remain committed to investing in market leading talent to further strengthen our capital markets capabilities. Tom is a highly regarded figure in the industry, bringing deep, all-round expertise across the living sector. His appointment will not only enhance our capital markets offering but also support the evolution of our market leading consultancy services.”

Grey added: “At a time where there remains an acute housing shortage in the UK, BTR is a vital part of our residential property sector, delivering the right homes for people at pace and scale. As the market continues to grow and evolve, expert advice and consultancy for investors and developers have never been more essential. I’m thrilled to bring my decades of experience to Cushman & Wakefield’s living team, and I’m looking forward to working with them and our clients to help deliver these vital new homes.”
