HBD has let a new 16,490 sq ft unit at Airport Business Park Southend to The Event Co.
The event and exhibition AV production company has been located in The Quad at Airport Business Park Southend since January 2023 and has chosen to remain at the development.
Construction of the unit at plot four will begin next month with The Event Co expected to move into its new building by the end of the year.
Jamie Clarke, director of The Event Co, said: “HBD have been a great help with our rapid growth since Covid, making it possible to have a larger, clean working space to store, test and service our audio visual kit. The larger warehouse will also feature a state-of-the-art demo space for our clients to visit and view the latest technology to bring their events to life. It’s a very exciting time for The Event Co and we look forward to welcoming new staff from the local area to aid the expansion going forward.”

Airport Business Park Southend is a joint venture between HBD and Southend City Council.
