Homes England has acquired the 17-hectare Carrow Works site in Norwich for an undisclosed price.
The former factory site was previously owned by Colman’s and features several listed buildings.
The government agency will now work closely with Norwich City Council and other partners to develop detailed proposals for a new residential neighbourhood on the site.

This is a prime example of how Homes England is working collaboratively with Norwich City Council to turn this complex brownfield site into a thriving neighbourhood that will provide much-needed homes.”
