Avant Homes East Midlands has agreed a £3.6m partnership deal with affordable housing provider Trent & Dove to deliver 16 new homes at Cadley Park in Swadlincote.
The new energy efficient homes comprise a mix of three- and four-bedroom detached and semi-detached properties.
Phil Lacey, group head of affordable housing at Avant Homes, said: “Our multi-tenure strategy is underpinned by our vision of providing quality new homes for everyone. Our partnership with Trent & Dove at Cadley Park is a clear demonstration of us delivering on our vision and we hope it is the first of many with them.
“Due to the success of our Cadley Village development in Swadlincote, we know the town is a popular place to live and Trent & Dove’s affordable homes will contribute to the thriving community that is there. We also know the successful delivery of affordable housing is essential to provide more homes for the people who need them most.
“Avant Homes is determined to create a positive, long lasting social impact through its multi-tenure strategy. We are actively engaged in conversations with registered social landlords and PRS providers across our business and look forward to announcing more partnerships in due course.”
Charlie Riley, development director at Trent & Dove, added: “We’re delighted to partner with Avant Homes to deliver 16 new affordable homes for our customers. Our partnerships help us to provide homes where our customers need them most. We’re able to accelerate our housing delivery in Swadlincote through our strategic partnership with Homes England managed via Orbit Homes.”
