Indurent submits plans for 500,000 sq ft distribution unit in Rochdale

Indurent has submitted a planning application for a new circa 500,000 sq ft distribution unit at Heywood Distribution Park in Heywood, Rochdale. 

The company is targeting BREEAM Excellent and an EPC A+ rating for the development, which is located close to Junction 19 of the M62 and Junction 3 of the M66. The unit will have a 5MVA power supply with the ability to upgrade to more than 10MVA.

Rob Richardson, development director at Indurent, said: “If approved, this new facility at Heywood Distribution Park will play a vital role in supporting the region’s growth by attracting leading occupiers and creating high quality jobs. This submission marks an exciting step forward in our commitment to delivering best in class, sustainable manufacturing and logistics space in strategic locations, like the North West.”
